It's a dark and eerie night, just one day before October. On that night, a woman finds herself on a blind date with a man whom she has only met online and whose face she has never seen before. The woman arrive at the restaurant and wait anxiously for his arrival. What unfolds may lead to unexpected romance or unseen events. Are you ready to discover what happens next?

BRO I SCREAMED WHEN HE STARTED CRAWLING ON THE TABLE..
Not the best artwork I've seen. And not only because it's black and white.
....this is one blind-date guy I'd never call again.
(Not that I'd talked to him to begin with, so the mc is clearly not me.)
....golden retriever... yepp. SO not me.
This is very much a first date date game right until the....near-the-end-thing. (Which I try to not mention to spoil.)
At least there is a good end to this game.
No clue what the other ends are, but I somehow doubt they'd be as good.
(Cuz of the tv shit.)
If I had actually liked my date I might have tried to see the other ends.
But he was so, SO boring.
That said, I'm sure other people might like him. I have heard that people like more-or-less normal people.

Objectively the game is....eh.
It's not bad, but not great either.
The conversations were a little stiff and weird, but that could be intentional rather than bad writing. In this context, it makes sense at least.
The twist at the end did make it a bit interesting tho, and it had a good amount of hints (which is to say; nothing obvious, but...enough to suspect it in retrospect.)
If the date had been someone else (like a personality type I actually like) I might have liked the game.
(Depending on possible 'bad' endings that may not have been bad if you didn't mind it. But I can't say what it do or don't have, cuz as I said; Only played it once.)

I was playing this game in the early hours of the morning, and I admit that I was a little scared of Edward, I even put my feet under the blanket hahaha. I finished the game with a lot of questions and theories, I hope there is a second game that can answer them all. I only managed to unlock three endings, were they the only ones???
I am considering it, a prequel perhaps but it might take a while so I'm focusing on doing other projects first. There are a total of four endings to unlock. Also, thank you for playing and don't forget to support the game by voting it for the Spooktober game jam. Have a nice day!
Really enjoyed this, short and sweet but very well executed. Will fully admit I got drawn in by 'Edward' and actually found him kind of endearing, meaning the twist was a genuine shock on the first playthrough. Also love the black and white art, it was a lovely stylistic choice.
